what we do
VOCATIONal training
We provide vocational training for men and women in various areas to attack generational poverty, lack of education due to dropout rates, and provide employable skills and opportunities for those living in the slums of Uganda.
COUNSELING
Healing from the past is a key component for each student to step into the hope and future God has for them. Life House provides one-on-one counseling to rescue them from the scars and pains of their past and set them on a path of recovery.

DISCIPLESHIP
We encourage and disciple each student in order to provide a Biblical foundation of healing, growth and maturity as they step into the next phase of opportunity they are provided through their vocational training.

Life House teaches students across 8 different occupational areas, offering courses for the men and women of Uganda to build vocational skills, receive counseling, and cultivate spiritual gifts through discipleship.

The cost for a student to go through Life House's one-year vocational program is $25 per month. At the completion of the program, students are scored on a national competency assessment in accordance with the Directorate of Industrial Training (DIT) and the Uganda Vocational Qualification Framework (UVQF). After graduation, over 80% of the students have been able to find immediate work placement - giving opportunity to break the cycle of poverty and experience life in abundance.
